In April of 2006, the Lord told our Toledo house church to leave the comfortable places in our lives and to enter a tent mentality so that we can follow him as a "cloud by day and fire by night" (check out the smoke cloud in pic). We knew this was not a word to sell our homes and buy tents to live in the parks. He was asking us to detach ourselves from the things of this world so that when he says “go there”, we can go. More importantly, he wanted us to go first in the spirit and then in the natural as he directs.

 

On the weekend of July 8th we went to Youngstown, Ohio to partner with Todd and Susan Morrison in their calling as spiritual parents to youth and young adults who are struggling with various aspects of life. For three days, we stayed in tents (!), and saw teens respond to the Morrison’s desire to love and accept them… ten teens the first night, and six the next. Some stood back and observed, and others were more obviously hungry for the Lord and His Kingdom. On the last day we dedicated their house and land to the Lord with prayer and communion. We are so excited to partner with the Lord and the Morrisons as they bring these teens into His Kingdom and His glory!!
